Refer a friend
Our students and graduates are uniquely positioned to provide genuine insight into studying online with the University of Liverpool. Through our referral scheme, you can recommend a friend to join our global community – and in recognition of your support, you will both receive an award to assist with your academic journeys.
How the scheme works?
Those referring a friend can be either an existing student (Student Advocate) or graduate (Alumni Advocate) with University of Liverpool online programmes. A Friend can be a friend, colleague or family member of the Advocate.
As a Student Advocate you must:
- be enrolled on a University of Liverpool online programme; and
- have successfully passed their first module and had it ratified at an exam board; and
- not have any outstanding tuition fee payments due.
As an Alumni Advocate you must:
- have successfully completed a University of Liverpool online programme and had their grades ratified at an exam board; and
- not have any outstanding tuition fee payments.
Your Friend must:
- not currently be, or previously have been, enrolled on a University of Liverpool online programme; and
- pass their first module; and
- not have any outstanding tuition fee payments due.
What is the reward?
The incentive for the Student Advocate and Friend will represent a £500 GBP tuition fee reduction, or payment if tuition fees have been paid in full up front. The incentive for the Alumni Advocate will be an Amazon voucher valued at £500 GBP. The Incentive will be paid once the Friend successfully passes their first module and the grade has been ratified at an exam board.

Please note – Online Short Courses are excluded from the referral scheme.
