This specialist degree could also lead to senior positions across high, middle, and low-income countries in a range of sectors including health organisations, governmental organisations, charities, and NGOs.  

What are the entry requirements?

To apply for any of the Master of Public Health programmes, you will need an honours degree in medicine or other public health-related degree at 2:2 or above, equivalent to a UK degree. We also welcome students with degrees in other subject areas or those without a degree, who will be considered on the basis of holding relevant work experience. 

You also need a GCSE Grade 4, Grade C, or GCE O Level pass in Mathematics and English, or an equivalent qualification – as well as a personal statement detailing why you want to study the programme, and how your work experience is relevant. All applicants must provide evidence that they have an English language ability equivalent to an IELTS (academic) score of 6.5 (overall) and 7.0 (reading and writing).
